5 Things You Didn't Know About Kristi Grusby: PaperSeed Novato Member

Kristi is part of the accounting team in CellMark's Novato office and, in addition to engaging with all of the fun extras the Novato team gets up to (like rooting for the office softball team, the CellMark Ducklings), Kristi is an active PaperSeed Local volunteer who is always willing to lend a hand. This month, we're learning more about what makes her a PaperSeed Champion!

1. WHAT ARE YOU MOST PASSIONATE ABOUT?

My kids. I love watching them grow, play and learn. They are becoming young adults right before my eyes. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them. And baseball, I love baseball. Go Giants!

2. WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO WHEN YOU AREN'T WORKING OR VOLUNTEERING?

I’m usually at a youth sporting event or performance. I also enjoy wine tasting with friends.

3. WHO IS YOUR ROLE MODEL AND WHY?

I would have to say my grandmother. She was an amazing woman who was ahead of her time. She graduated from college at a time when many women didn’t even consider going. She raised five kids and then went to work full-time at a job she loved. She had a full life with no regrets.

4. WHAT'S SOMETHING YOU'RE REALLY GOOD AT?

I’m really good at baking. I love to create food that makes people happy. Cupcakes and cookies always make people happy.

5. IS THERE ANYTHING YOU HOPE TO LEARN IN THE FUTURE? (LIKE A NEW LANGUAGE, INSTRUMENT, OR SKILL?)

I would love to learn how to decorate cakes.
