It is a fact that educating girls is the best and most effective way to lift communities out of poverty, which is why we are so honored to have worked with Education for All in Morocco. EFA is dedicated to providing safe homes close to secondary schools in Marrakesh for rural girls to live in while they study. Without these homes, many girls living in Morocco's mountainous region would have to drop out of school, and would likely be forced to marry.
Since opening its doors, EFA has had many firsts: first girl to complete secondary school, first girl to be accepted to university, first girl to complete university. Now, we are thrilled to share that EFA has had their first girl accepted to a master's program!

Perhaps more exciting, Fatima is not only the first EFA girl to reach this educational milestone, Fatima is the first person in her community to go on to a master's program. The young women served by EFA are pioneering education in their communities, and becoming inspiring role models for girls and boys alike. We are so proud of Fatima and the amazing people at EFA who make moments like this possible.
