Educating Women is ‘The Smartest Global Investment’ Possible

Speaking at a recent Every Woman Every Child event, Secretary General of the UN Ban-Ki Moon had some investment advice for business leaders attending the World Economic Forum: “Investing in the health of women and girls is the right thing to do and the smart thing to do for national economies and global stability.”

Living in the US, it’s easy to forget that in many parts of the world, women and girls are given far fewer educational opportunities than their male counterparts. And it hurts the economy in those areas if half of the population is being denied full education!

With this announcement, we at PaperSeed hope to see more business leaders joining us in the cause for educational empowerment!
